Adobe Illustrator Tutorials

Attached are 3 links to adobe illustrator tutorials, I chose these specific links because one of them shows you how to use the pen tool which is very important when learning illustrator, the next video builds off of that (its made by the same YouTuber) showing some tips and tricks to make your time in illustrator go a little more smoothly. The last video I found is a little more complex but shows you how to illustrate in Adobe Illustrator. I will definitely be referring back to these videos when I get confused.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cubZGKpajXU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXpnKlUMZQA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ycw20MaugA

Calligram Illustrator

Image
This project took me about 3 hours to make, I was already a little familiar with Illustrator so it wasn't that difficult to come up with the final outcome. I originally was going to do a calligram of the "Almost Famous" movie cover but once I began attempting to create the calligram I realized I was making it difficult for myself. I ended up creating the cover of an album by Maggie Rogers. The album is called Heard It In A Past Life and was released at a time that was very influential to me, I have been listening to Maggie Rogers since she released her first EP in 2015 and only had 4 songs. This project was very fun to create and I love the final outcome of it. I referenced the album cover when creating my calligram because I wanted the colors to be in the proper place and be as close to the original as possible. One thing I probably could've improved on was making the colors more vibrant but every time I messed around with them on Illustrator the photo just bega

Canvas Experiment

For my canvas experiment I got my inspiration from a video game called Animal Crossing, I decided to create a female villager from the game. I made this decision because I spend a lot of time playing this game and perfecting my village. When this project was assigned, I was intimidated by it when I first read the syllabus because I had no idea how to code. But looking at my final product I am satisfied with the outcome for someone who just learned how to code. I think this project was very fun to create because we had the freedom to experiment with HTML5 and create whatever we wanted. I spent about 12 hours getting all the shapes where I wanted them to be. Although I thought the project was fun I also found it to be a little difficult because when I looked at the blank canvas, I didn't know where to begin. The outline I created on graph paper for this assignment looked nothing like the outcome I have now. Originally, I wanted to create the villager from head to toe but ass
